I’m Aleksandra Kekkonen, a passionate researcher, trainer, and sustainability consultant who finds inspiration in Circular Economy and Sustainable Living.
With a demonstrated history of working in the higher education
industry, I bring a wealth of experience in Human Capital,
Macroeconomics, Innovation Regional Development, International
Relations, Business Process Management, Circular Economy, and Project
Management. My expertise in these areas is a testament to my
commitment to delivering high-quality research and trainings.
With a PhD in Economics since 2013, my passion for the
Circular Economy and Sustainable Living is evident in my work, and I
am proud to be an Estonian Business School (Hereafter EBS) Green Ambassador 2022, showcasing my commitment
to sustainability.
I have been a Senior Research Fellow at EBS since 2021, leading the
Green&CSR Research group since 2022.
My passion for sustainability is unwavering, and I am particularly
interested in accelerating the green transition and shifting to a
circular economy on both Macro- and Local levels. I am a proud advocate
of Doughnut Economics.
My research and training areas are green economy and sustainable
development, mainly focusing on the field of company green transition,
community involvement and raising sustainability awareness among
different stakeholder groups
As a researcher, I organize and manage research projects and its processes, publish papers and apply for grants.
As a consultant, I support companies on green transition-related issues and mentor them in acceleration programs,develop and teach courses such as Circular Economy and Sustainable Business Models and provide training for companies on sustainability literacy.
